Donate to the Foundation

A donation and a lottery ticket do different things. One gets a tax receipt. The other gets you a chance to win.

Tax receipts

The receipt rule, stated plainly

Canada Revenue Agency rules do not allow a charitable receipt where the giver receives something of value in return, and a chance to win a car counts as something of value. That is not a Foundation policy and there is no way around it. If a tax receipt matters to you, give through one of the channels below rather than through the raffle.
